Hey all!  My name is Kelley and you have stumbled onto my art blog, which I hope you enjoy!  I have been using art sites like Deviant Art and Flickr for a while now but have continually gotten upset with the formatting of each site.  I decided to switch to the blog format because it feels much more intimate with the artist.  I have enjoyed many personal artist websites during my time on Tumblr and felt that it was time to make one for myself.

I am into all kinds of art and have been for years.  I love photography, writing, painting with oils, water colors, and acrylics, mixed media, drawing, sketching, making and altering clothing, making jewelry and other crafting.  I’ve been drawing since I was a little kid and got into jewelry making when I was about 13 or so. 

At the moment, I am a senior in college studying Creative Writing with a minor in Film.  I have met many wonderful people while in these two programs that I wouldn’t trade for the world.  Due to first publishing rights, I won’t be publishing any of my writing directly to the site but I will provide links as my stuff gets published to online literary magazines or photos of my work in a book. After I graduate, I plan to go to get my MFA in Creative Writing to help further my career by growing as a writing under the guidance of already established writers.  I write both fiction and poetry, and at the moment I’m writing a comic book.  I’ve written screenplays in the past. 

When it comes to art, I don’t like to limit myself.  I love art of all shapes and forms and am eager to get my art out there and experience others!
